As a member of the GLBT community, I never thought I'd live to see the day to see 10 out of the possible soon-to-be 51 states (Puerto Rico wants to become unified with the United States... it needs to pass through Congress but still...) that accepts marriage equality to all couples. It may be a small percentage but it's progress... and it's only the beginning! Minnesota voted "No" to the amendment that banned equal rights to same sex couples to marry. So in the future, Minnesota might hop onto the rainbow train. :]
But still, I've been parading around in my room ever since I read the news of Maryland, Maine, & Washington (state) accepting marriage equality... so instead of studying for my midterm (which is tomorrow), I have drawn this to celebrate the historic day for GLBT Americans like myself.

I hope that puerto rico thing doesn't get passed. I think they only want to become a state so they can live off the welfare from our government. :/ cute drawing tho.
